Bug Description
There are some situation when Variety should be able to pause completely. We need to investigate if and how these can be detected without the detection consuming power itself (preferably detection will be based on events, not on polling). Detection must be DE-agnostic, DE-specific solutions will not be implemented.
1. Laptop runs on battery
2. There is a window in fullscreen mode
3. The screensaver is running
4. Display is turned off
