Variety no longer changes wallpaper automatically in KDE v. 4.11.1.

Both Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and LinuxMint13 64bit

Normal setup of predefined wallpaper file was used as instructed. This may not truly be a bug in Variety, but may be a behavior change in KDE, in that KDE may no longer refresh the changed wallpaper file without manual application. The automatic refresh was apparently originally implemented/championed by Aaron Seigo; I have not been able to contact him yet concerning this change, if in fact it happened at all. This cripples Variety's use in KDE.

The proper fix would be in KDE, which should allow some way to script changing the wallpaper - at the moment there is no such way. Inadequate for a major DE... I encourage everyone to urge them however they feel appropriate (bug reports, direct contact, etc.).

Thank you for your response. Obviously my searchfu was weak, as I couldn't find the previous bug beforehand. I will encourage the KDE folks to attend to this lapse.
