Feature request

Hopefully a simple one - I'd love to have the option of scaling the images to fit the screen. I have a number of high res photos and I'd like to be able to more than just the central portion. I have poked through the settings and didn't see this as an option... Thanks!

Use Ubuntu's Appearance settings to change the wallpaper display mode between span, zoom, etc. The default is to scale images, but zoom in so that there are no black stripes on sides.

Thanks Peter - I just figured that one out right before you replied!

It would be nice to be able to do this from within Variety without having to poke around other places, but not a necessity.

After a day it the latest version seems stable under Mint 15 64-bit w/ Cinnanmon...
