Bug Description
Ok, first of all: Nice application. Kudos!
Now, I realize this might be somewhat of an odd request, but I would love to see a feature to set the desktop to a live webpage.
Elements:
* Text box to insert the http.
* Some way of setting how often the page should be refreshed. 10 sec, 10 min, etc.
How it would work:
At the configured interval the wallpaper would silently update to reflect the current status of the webpage.
Optional feature:
* Clickable links open in the default browser.
Comments:
Ok, so this might be outside the scope of your application, but as far as I know there is no simple way to do this in Linux. Thus it would make a compelling feature setting the application apart from the competition. Also, it provides a bit of a challenge. ;)

Variety does not paint the desktop, so clickable links on the desktop is pretty much out of the question. As for regular screenshots - this might happen one day when Variety supports custom wallpaper- downloading plugins, as a plugin, but is definitely quite low on the priority list.
