Bug Description

On starting up:

The procedure entry point gzdirect could not be located in the dynamic link library zlib1.dll.

I had the same problem except I am on Windows XP. By placing a copy of zlib1.dll at C:\WINDOWS\system32 fixed the problem and the IDE started up. There is more then one approach to fix the problem. This was just quick and dirty.

That last solution did not work for me. I used the zlib1.dll provided by the Gnu-Win32 project.

But I did get it working by adding zlib1.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\valide-0.7.1\bin.
