Hi Erwan,

Workaround: Use the Geany editor instead of Valaide to edit files and
use Valaide to manage your project and make the builds.

At the time I filed the Valaide bug report I was investigating
Vala/Genie as a possible language for my project. Because I had some
small but important Vala language issues on the Windows platform I
decided to abandon the language in favor of plain old C.

I never built Valaide for Windows, so I cannot give you any guidelines.
Sorry.

My impression is that Vala/Genie is designed to run optimally on
Linux-based systems. Windows support is minimal. There are very few
people in the Vala/Genie community that know Windows well enough to help
with workarounds.

Try posting your guidelines question to this maillist group for help:

Good luck!

Best regards,
Ron
