Bug Description

When a Jenkins job starts and the machine is prepared, it can take a long time where only this message is printed:

INFO: Caught [Errno 110] Connection timed out, retrying sshcheck(15)
INFO: Checking for ssh availability
INFO: Sleeping 15 seconds

It would be very useful to have some more informations on this. For example a timestamp, to easily see for how long the process is waiting. Other informations that might make it easier to debug failures would be useful too. For example showing if the machine has booted again (ping possible) but only ssh fails etc.

At UDS we talked about adding a timestamp to the console logging, so that's already on the list of things to do. We can add a ping check as well.

summary: - add more information while waiting for machines to ready
+ Add timestamp to console logging

Timestamp was already added in change 752.1.3 (the branch nick is client-log-changes, but it doesn't seem to be available in launchpad)
