Need to restart app if stream fails

The BBC streams have a habit of stopping after around 10 minutes, and I have got used on other platforms having to press 'play' again to restart them.

When it happens on uRadio I have to kill the app and restart it to get it going again.

Similar thing tonight.

I was listening to BBCradio4, but accidentally touched fox new.. The what's playing strep. Hanged go that but all sound stopped.

I could togvle the play/pause control but itstayed silent

Re-selecting BBCradio4 did not help.. Again I. Oulx play/pause, but nosound.

I clozed and re-opdndx be apple & it all started . Working

Interesting the localradio app does the same thing.

There is a well known problem with BBC streams randomly pausing, but in IOS or windows I just press 'play' again

The two ubuntu apps seem to have a lot in common.

This same behavior happens if you're on wifi then move to cellular data, or if you temporarily lose your internet connection.
