System doesn't showdown via ACPI

Bug Description

My laptop normally shutdown down if I run out of batteries, but for some reason, when I use `upstart' instead of `sysvinit', it doesn't.

However, it does write: ``The system is going down for system halt NOW!'', in my terminal.

I'm not sure if it's directly related to `upstart'. I bet the problem is the command that is invoked by ACPI. This problem should be fixed when replacements for shutdown, halt, reboot, etc. will be provided.
