ubuntu-standard removes upstart, but system is not working with systemd
Bug #1430548 reported by
Nazar Mokrynskyi
Bug watches keep track of this bug in other bug trackers.
This is the intended behavior. If something on your system is not working with systemd, please file a specific bug for that issue.
To work around bugs with systemd in the meantime, there is a boot option available from the boot loader to let you boot with upstart instead of systemd. Information on changing which init you use, including a semi-permanent rollback to upstart, can be found here:
https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/SystemdForU pstartUsers# Switching_ init_systems
Bear in mind that upstart will cease to be supported as an option in a future Ubuntu release, so it's important that you report any problems you have booting your system under systemd.
