Bug Description
I am roughly following the recipe here:
https:/
I have upgraded my pxe server from "precise" to "trusty" without problems
but upgrading the client does not work:
the client seems to hang at startup. it looks like it is waiting for
statd and idmapd before it can mount the network drives (I am using nfsv3).
The old DisklessUbuntuHowto mentions a race in "upstart" which sounds very similar
to my problem but adding the suggested ",rw" did not help.
Two more observations:
if I pxe boot a trusty client via a virtual machine, I do not get that hanging problem.
It only happens with a physical client.
