Text disappears after save

First of all, thanks for making this awesome software available for free. I often need to fill in PDF forms and this has helped me tremendously.

Version: updf 0.0.2.4-1ubuntu1

Steps to reproduce:
1) open a pdf
2) use the text tool to write some text
3) save the file
4) use the text tool again

As soon as I click on the document, the text which I wrote in step (2) disappears. This can be pretty scary if you've filled in a lot of text before saving.

I found that I was able to recover the text from step 2 by switching to another page and then going back to the first page.
