Bug Description
Ths extension is the last one I needed for the gnome shell - and it seems to work great.
On the current unstable version of Ubuntu 12.10 I now seem to have triggered something, though: I pressed on the "upgrade" button, then clicked on the "0 updates" sign and watched the throbber turn first on "update" and then on "refresh".
Even after a reboot of my system the throbber is still on "refresh" and turning; Installing all updates and rebooting the system returned the plug-in into a working order. The next presses on "update" seemed to work, but as soon as there were packages which actually could be updated the throbber on "refresh" started turning endlessly again. Meanwhile apt-get is able to update system the system meaning that the package database isn't locked.
Looking glass tells me the extension never emitted any error. If you can indicate me where to start debugging or where to get any log from what might have gone wrong I will try to help you, though.
Thanks in advance,
and
Kind regards,
Gunter.
