I updated the OS and it crashed. I wasn't able to reboot using the newer kernel 2.6.31.14 so I ended up rebooting using 2.6.31.11. Originally i did a fresh install. I then installed Sun Virtualbox. After that, I then updated; 500 or so updates were installed prior to its crashing.

Although the traceback that brought apport up refers to the ubuntuone-client, it appears the problem reported here is related to the dist upgrade process and has no relation to the ubuntuone-client.
