Bug Description
I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 on a Samsung Chromebook under crouton. I installed unsettings, and used it to increase the size of the fonts. Everything worked fine. After re-boot, things were back as they were, and now unsettings has no effect no matter what I do. When I apply the new settings, nothing changes. I tried removing and re-installing unsettings, but the result is the same. Any ideas? Why would it stop working?

I figured out why it stopped responding. It turns out I had launched gnome-settings- daemon before I had used it the first time, and after reboot it wasn't running. If I launch gnome-settings- daemon before running unsettings, then the system responds to unsettings changes., otherwise it doesn't. Is this the expected behavior? Should I just always have gnome-setting daemon running?
