How to trigger

You need to have at least 25 apps (9 rows) to trigger this.

1. go to the app scope
2. scroll all the way down
3. open the app store
4. close the app store
5. see the first icon moved weirdly

It also happens on app crashes.

Realised there must be something else to do as well because i cannot trigger it every time anymore.
But I managed to trigger it everytime after reboot on r144 (3 times in a row)

Few step on how to do > restart phone > phone boots up after wipe you should be on app scope.
click on my apps to see all the apps> go to the media player app click on it (no video should be available on the device) > message appear saying that there is no file to play click ok> bug triggered.

Also you can now trigger it even more easily on r152
Go to apps scope > click on see all > scroll all the way down > click on ubuntu store> click on the back button on the header of ubuntu store > bug

OK I started seeing this by scrolling down to the end of Apps, going into the store and back again.

I can't reproduce, i don't even have a "See all" on the apps scope. How do i get a "See all" there? How many apps do you have installed?

It seems to depend on the height of the device, somewhere between 7 and 9 rows triggers this for me.

With https://code.launchpad.net/~aacid/unity8/category_view_invisible_in_preview_mode/+merge/231844 this doesn't happen anymore, the underlying bug is most probably somewhere in Qt, but with this the listview is more stable and thus doesn't trigger that issue.
