Bug Description
It would be useful for autopilot, and general testing, to be able to turn on an optional hint of the current 'mouse' position on the display.
This could be turned on via an environment variable and could be implemented by showing a dot on the screen as to where the 'mouse' is on the display.

Also outside of autopilot this can be useful. See for example this bug: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu- ui-toolkit/ +bug/1327171
The target area for a button is too small there, perhaps missing the area is caused by touching with the full finger and the first point-of-contact with the screen is outside of the area, and following touches (with the same finger) are inside but no longer recorded?
