Log output is excessive

Flash must be considered cheap nowadays. Unity8 is dumping about 1K - 2K of logging data to /home/phablet/.ubuntu-touch-session/logs/unity8.log per second when I swipe on the music or video carousels.

To observe the write activity, install fatrace, cd to / and run sudo fatrace -c

Also, tail -f /home/phablet/.ubuntu-touch-session/logs/unity8.log shows the following log messages being appended:

I'm not against logging errors, but *lots* of identical error messages filling up the flash file system at 1-2K a second costs us space and wastefully consumes power and adds to flash wear.

The unity8 log has now changed location, however I am seeing messages still being logged frequently to tail -f /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/unity8.log

For example, just navigating from the Home Scope to the Applications and scrolling up/down and back again a few times I'm seeing the following messages being constantly appended to the log:

DEPRECATED use of Panel.opened property. This property will be made read-only,
                please use the opened property of the Page tools or use Panel.open() and Panel.close().
DEPRECATED use of Panel.opened property. This property will be made read-only,

Just to add, I tested this on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with today's image including the latest updates at 10.00am
