Bug Description

I have set custom XDG directories for most entries in the ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs file. Unity's dash does not seem to use this file.

For example, clicking 'Videos' in the Files Lense tries to open $HOME/Videos (the default path for that entry) instead of using my custom entry of $HOME.

See attached picture for contents of my file as well as the error message I receive when clicking Videos in the Files Lense.

This needs to be fixed one-by-one in the lenses. Is the video lens the only place in Unity where this happens?

Hi Bilal, it doesn't appear to be in the videos lens, only in the files lens.
The Videos lens works fine with custom names, I'm using one myself.

Nevertheless, some parts of the Videos lens are explicitely disabled when $HOME is set as the Videos folder, but that's unrelated to this bug.

Oh right, I marked the video lens by mistake. It should be the files lens instead.
