Bug Description
The font hinting used in the dash does not work nicely against transparency: you can clearly see a crisp text with the subpixel hinting colorizing green or other colors around the font shapes. Of course this is how lcd subpixel works, but it's not looking great in out user case.
We need to investigate further and maybe find a way to either improve the rendering or switch over a grayscale hinting.
