Bug Description

The title pretty much explains the issue. If I minimize a window which is maximized and I then click on its unity launch bar icon in order to restore it the restored window has the correct dimensions (those of a maximized one) but it is misplaced. In particular it extends under the launch bar on the upper left corner leaving some empty space on the bottom and right part of the monitor. Every time I have to use Alt + Left Click in order to move it back in place.

After messing around a little bit, it seems that the issue only manifests itself on unity, but not unity 2d or gnome. Also, the issue doesn't reproduce when minimizing using ctr+super+D (show desktop / minimize all windows). When using this key combination instead of the minimize button of the window, window size is appropriately restored. Anyone know what the difference is between minimizing using key combos or the minimize button?
