Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
Place windows on different workspaces and then select to show Desktop in Alt+Tab.
What happens
it simply minimises all windows on all workspaces.

Desired Solution:
Only applications on the current workspace should be minimised. This is consistent with the segregation of different workspaces in Alt-Tab, etc...

Thank you reporting this bug to make Ubuntu better. I can confirm in on my system. It should be similar to the alt-tab behavior, which only shows application in that workspace. Similarly, pressing desktop in alt-tab should only minimise the applications in the current workspace. This however requires confirmation and approval of the design team before this can be implemented. Hence marking it incomplete until further feedback from the design team.
