HUD: switching between the HUD and the dash makes the top panel opaque

Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
- Tap <Alt> to invoke the HUD
- Tap <Super> to invoke the dash
or viceversa. The top panel will become opaque. Screenshot attached.
