Bug Description
Prior to 11.04, the `Super+S` keyboard shortcut used to raise Session Menu. Now it is used for workspace expo view.
Currently, even in the official Keyboard shortcuts map, the only solution is to press F10 + right arrow key (until reaching the Session Menu). This is uncomfortable for many reasons, including:
- some applications map F10 to their own functionality
- some laptops put the Function keys under a Fn+Fx combination, so getting to Shutdown/Logout is hard.
Proposed solution:
Pressing F10 starts from the right (thereby choosing the indicator menus first) if there are no applications active on the desktop.

Thank you for reporting this bug. In unity, the Super+S is reserved only for workspace expo view. I don't think that is going to change. The design has been to use Super + Keyboard shortcuts for Unity actions like dash, expo view etc. However at present, you can use F10 and then press the right key to choose the indicator menus. However if you feel this is not what you were expecting then perhaps the following behaviour is suggested.
Pressing F10 starts from the right (thereby choosing the indicator menus first) if there are no applications active on the desktop. If you agree to this, then please edit your description and I can mark this as confirmed.
