Black rectangle instead of window preview in alt-tab switcher during WorkSpace switch

1. start a few applications
2. start workspace switcher with super+s or by clicking its icon in launcher
3. press alt+tab and press down arrow key

What happens:
a black rectangle is shown as window preview

What should happen:
window preview should be show
