Bug Description
When typing in Alt+F2 lens, the results correctly include commands starting with these letters. But when typing a space after a command, to add an option/argument, it only displays what is currently typed. It should return the same results as pressing TAB in a terminal.
Steps to reproduce:
In a terminal, type "ubuntu-bug unit" and press TAB two times.
The completion lists several results.
In Alt+F2 lens, type "ubuntu-bug unit".
The results display only one useless result: "ubuntu-bug unit".
The same can be done with more common commands, like `ls --`.

As part of the big bug review for 16.04 LTS I have tested this on 15.10 and the bug is still there. I think this is a feature request rather than a bug.
