Bug Description

Due to time constraints the 'shortcuts' item in the dash cannot be made functional for this cycle so the solution is:

<njpatel> om26er, just remove the arrow

---------------

Note from design: If we have to remove the arrow, we should also remove the 'house icon' and the word "Shortcuts". Without the arrow this title serves no purpose.

=====Original Report=====

Open the Dash. Next to Shortcuts there is a white down arrow. Clicking the arrow makes the arrow disappear...until the next time you log in. The arrow shouldn't be there at all.

I don't believe this is a duplicate of bug 838127 since this is just about the small white arrow, not "Filter Results".

I believe there is not much time left this cycle to make it function but I might be wrong maybe a little working version of this could be implemented that would just hide and show shortcuts (no collapsing and expaning) i have updated the bug report and added ayatana-design as affects see what we get from there.

If we are removing the arrow, we should instead remove the whole 'home icon' and word "Shortcuts". Without the arrow this title has no function.
