I just wanted to add that I also have trouble moving windows in the workspace switcher with this problem.
It feels as if the position I click on the switcher zoom is misplaced from what I see, so I have to move around clicking to hit the right window.

I use TwinView over two monitors and the expo mode or workspace switcher - as unity calls it - is basically unusable for me. This is what I see after pressing Super + S: http://i.imgur.com/3HhK1.jpg
