Dual-monitor setup, under Nouveau. If I have two maximised windows, one on each terminal, only the focused window shows the unity overlay window controls (close, minimise, maximise).
This means that the inactive window first has to acquire focus; only then we can operate on the close/minimise/maximise.
Easily repeatable with a dual-monitor setup. Note that this bug does not exist on single-monitor setups -- or, rather, it is not at least easily visible.

1. make sure you have dual monitor setup
2. open 1 window and maximize it on one screen
3. open another window and maximize on second display
What happens:
When first window is focused on screen 1, the top panel goes blank on secondary montior and vice versa.
What should happen:
the panel on the second monitor should not go blank and should have the title/menus of the onscreen app.
