Switcher: square pane too large to fit round border

Bug Description

I've been told that the transparent gap between the switcher pane and its border is supposed to be there, but the square pane actually breaks that border at the corners (see screenshot).

ubuntu don't pay attention in details, i'm shure that this bug never been fixed. moving to elementary, mark shuttleworth is leader of design team, and he isn't a designer. thats the problem.

It's has gotten a lot better (using Unity 4.20.0-0ubuntu2) in the meantime (see attachment), but I'm not sure the corners cannot get improved even further.
