Dash: pressing [enter] in input widget does not start/load any program (even exact match)

Bug Description
In the Unity Dash (opened by pressing the Super key) it used to possible to type eg:
guc [enter]
thus loading 'gucharmap'. This is not presently working on Ubuntu 11.10. In fact, even exact matched ('gucharmap') producing only one match do not cause that result to be loaded.
