Panel drop shadow missing in "--below" multi monitor setup

Bug Description

If one uses a multi monitor setup where one monitor is configured to be below the other (in this case: xrandr --output HDMI1 --primary --auto --output LVDS1 --auto --below HDMI1), the panel on the lower (LVDS1 in this case) monitor doesn't get a drop shadow.

If the monitor is placed on the right (xrandr --output HDMI1 --primary --auto --output LVDS1 --auto --right-of HDMI1), the panel gets a drop shadow.

This is reproducible any time. Attached screenshots in both configurations, the smaller screen is LVDS1 and is missing a panel drop shadow in one case.
