Comment 46 for bug 814833

This exact same behaviour has been reported in Bug #919801, which was origunally filed for Ubuntu 11.10 (sic). It's a bug that affects many users but never seems to attract enough resouces to get solved. Please register yourself as affected to help raise focus on this problem.
