Bug Description

In Unity Launcher, if you minimize two windows of the same group (say two Firefox windows), when you click on the icon group in the launcher (firefox icon), it sometimes restores the window that was minimized first on top of the others.

It should restore in reverse order, ie the window that was last used (and thus last minimized) should be on top.

To Reproduce:
1. Open two firefox windows, load different web pages into both for identification purposes
2. Minimise window A
3. Minimise window B
4. Single left click on firefox launcher icon
5. Ubuntu restores window B (correctly)
6. Minimise window B again
7. Single left click on firefox launcher icon

What currently incorrectly happens:
8. Window A is restored!

What should happen:
8. The last window minimised should be restored. In this case it is window B.

--------------------------

Desired resolution:
- When all windows of a app are minimised, clicking on the app launcher icon should always restore the last window to be minimised.

I think this is exactly the same problem of bug #802527.

@Marco. I think this is slightly different. I am also hit by bug #802527 but this report is not really a bug, but more like a misbehaviour. In particuliar, focus is on the right window, unlike what happens in #802527

Completely agree. The last active "normal window" should be brought back when clicked on the Launcher icon. I said "normal window" just to cover applications like GIMP with multiple windows for side functions...

Another use case...

1) open thunderbird
2) create a new message
3) switch to firefox
4) click on thunderbird icon in the launcher to come back to thunderbird

Result:
- thunderbird main window appears. You have to click again in the icon in launcher to get the choice between the two windows, then double click on new message window, to be able to go on with your ongoing work in thunderbird...

Expected result:
- the last active window in the thunderbird group is shown, that is the message you're currently editing.

In fact this in not directly related to minimizing or not, so I'll edit the bug title...

+ Launcher - Unity launcher should show the last active window of a group
