Sidebar shows then fails to dodge after Skype notification

My sidebar often stops dodging and I finally realized at least one of the reasons it stops. When Skype displays a notification in the bottom corner of the screen, for some reason the sidebar shows. But after the notification goes away (or is exited) the sidebar does not go away again. Even going into compiz control and switching between hide modes does not reset it.

Test:
-Sign into Skype
-go into Skype options->Notifications and click "Test Event" on one of the events that display a pop-up notification

I can't reproduce this bug here. When I get Skype display an incoming call notification, the notification comes up well but the launcher stays hidden (as intended).

That's maybe because I'm running Oneiric with the latest Skype deb from skype.com and the latest Qt libraries. Marking incomplete, anyway.
