Dropping a file to the launcher icon when the program has more than one windows, makes the computer unusable

Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
- open two firefox windows, then drag a html file to the icon in the launcher and hold it until the scale plugin is activated, wait for 3-4 seconds and then release themouse click.
Expected result:
- the file is opened in one of the windows.
Actual result:
- the scale plugin will activate and the file will be opened as a new tab in one of the windows but the system cannot deactivate the scale plugin. Cosequently, any other operations on the computer can not be performed, forcing to a reboot.

I cannot reproduce this bug. The scale plugin activates, but the system doesn't become unusable. Could you confirm that you're running Natty with the latest updates?

Hi Bilal,
I was able to reproduce this bug on 3 different machines, two Nattys and one Oneiric, all with the latest updates. I have updated the steps to reproduce it. Could you please tell me if you were able to reproduce the bug?

thanks for the bug report. Is that still an issue in Ubuntu 12.04? Can you please test that and let us know?
