Wrong icon size for thunderbird when default

What Happened:
After installing Thunderbird and selecting it as the default mail app. Unity correctly added Thunderbird to the main dash. However Unity used the wrong icon size and white box around the icon (when you hover over the icon) was the wrong size and out of alignment aswell.

What I expected to Happen:
I expected Unity to correctly display the correct icon size and highlighting to be of the right size.

I hope that this issue can be solved soon.

Note: I have attached a screenshot of this problem.
