Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

This is an odd bug that may be a bit hard to describe properly, but here goes.

In a web browser (firefox, chrome, opera I have tested) if the browser window is overlapping the unity dock area (i.e. maximised window or you drag window over dock causing to hide) when you scroll in the web browser there is noticeable vertical screen tearing on the left side where the dock would be. If you move the window so it is not overlapping the dock there is no tearing at all when you are scrolling.

I have an ati mobilty radeon hd2600 and am using the catalyst 11.4 drivers. I have also tested this using the catalyst 11.5 prelease drivers. I have tear-free desktop enabled, I get no tearing anywhere else.
