Bug Description

I have two screens, the right one is my 1080p laptop screen, the left one an older LCD panel with a lower resolution.

I use the (right) laptop screen as my main screen. When developing software, i use the left (smaller) screen to run the webbrowsers for testing.

The Unity panel is "stuck" on the laptop screen - i can't seem to move it the the left screen where it would make much more sense in terms of usability - it wastes valuable space on my main screen.

Also, i can't seem to switch the panel to a text mode where it either displays text instead of (or in addition to) icons. I'm suffering from Aspergers Syndrom and also have problems recognizing faces, icons, images.

Both of these issues forced me to drop Unity and go back to the Classic Gnome shell with its menus. (If classic desktop support gets dropped in 11.10, i'll probably have to drop Ubuntu altogether, which will include the 30 or so "servers" i run for my company...).
