Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

Network, bluetooth and keyboard indicators do not respond to mouse-clicks. I have to click on indicator-date/time and activate it and then move the pointer over the mentioned applets to bring them back to life.

Have you recently added any applications to the old-style systray whitelist? If yes then this bug is a duplicate of bug #761409 . If not then make sure you are using the latest version of Unity (3.8.10-0ubuntu2) as I cannot reproduce this here.

It would be even better if you provided a screenshot showing the region which you cannot click on. An example of such a screenshot:

I'm having this same problem, even with unity 3.8.10-0ubuntu2

Attached is a screenshot of what I can't click on. As per report, if I click on the me menu, I get a dropdown, and from there I can drag the mouse left and see my indicator dropdowns, but clicking directly on them fails.

I have turned off the whitelist for systray: gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"

do you get the issue if you don't tweak the systray list?
