2011-09-22 15:04:06 John Lea description Binary package hint: unity Attempting to add a custom launcher in the for of "application /path/to/file" to the unity side bar. Currently there is a way to add applications (open application, rightclick item in side bar, keep in launcher). Upgrading to Natty also converts gnome-panel custom launchers (including custom icon) into unity side bar items. Unity needs a simple way to add custom launchers to the side bar. There is currently a workaround [1][2] which is not very user friendly.
