Search in Dash does not work at first try

Bug Description
Since version 3.8.8 the search in the dash does not deliver any results on the first try (for programs or files which are there, like say for example firefox...). After closing and reopening the dash everything works normal. I can reproduce this bug reliably after every new login to a session.
