ubuntu button doesn't show up

Bug Description
The ubuntu button that should be above the unity bar doesn't show up, so window controls go right to the left of the screen, messing up showing unity when you hover over that area to try to minimize apps.
This is on Ubuntu 11.04 64bit with open source drivers for AMD HD 5770.
