cannot click on indicators to the left of date/time

Bug Description

I cannot click on indicators to the left of the date/time
Messaging menu, volume, battery, network-manager and any application indicators cannot be clicked
The menus can only be accessed by clicking on the power button, 'me menu', date/time and then moving the mouse left to the other menus

Mbarak, hm... which version of unity are you using? I cannot reproduce this here with unity 3.6.8.

i had unity 3.6.6

i upgraded to the latest version and I still have the problem

If i restart unity, i can click on the indicators
so, log in, let unity load
alt+f2 > "unity"
i can click on the indicators

I confirm this one. Most of the indicator menu cannot be opened by clicking. They are only accessible if you open some other indicator menu and then move the mouse to the desired indicator.

Although not all the indicators to the left of the clock are not clickable, but most of them.

Also, goldendict's tray icon never shows up (filter is already set to 'all').

Both problems are gone is I restart Unity.

Will anyone do something about that? That's really annoying: I have to restart Unity every time upon login, otherwise most of my indicators are unreachable.

I can't imagine how people use Unity with such a bug, which is 100% reproducible every time.

Maybe it has something to do with screen resolution: I use iMac 27" with native 2560x1440 resolution.
