Global Menus should be configurable, autofokus is horrible on big desktops

Bug Description
I have tested Unity on my Laptop (13" 1280x800) and a 22" Monitor (1680x1050). On the Laptop the global menu is nice, but on bigger desktops the menus should stay in the windows. I like to use autofokus for the windows and it is impossible to get to the menu, if the window is far away.
My suggestion: add a configuration. Use global menu for non maximized windows: True/False
And the default for screens smaller than 1.1MPix is True, for bigger screens the default is False.
If no global menu is in the panel the Nautilus menu can be shown
