Bug Description
When running Virtualbox in fullscreen mode, clicks along the top or left edges of the screen are often accepted by the (hidden) launcher and menubar instead of going to the guest OS as intended. Somehow, the launcher and menubar are sent to the back for display, but are in front for clicks.
The problem does not seem to occur when the Virtualbox is first instantiated -- it is only after moving to a different Unity desktop and working in non VB applications for a while.
My configuration:
- Three different monitors (1024x1280, 1900x1200, 1280x1024)
- Launcher on the centre monitor
- Virtualbox with Windows 7 guest
- Virtualbox typically uses 1 or 2 of the three screens.
Configurations that I have tried briefly which do not exhibit the issue:
- side monitors disabled
- VB Guest using all 3 screens
This might be related to Virtualbox bug 13365 (reported fixed).
I have the same issue here on the latest fully updated 15.04 and with the latest version of virtualbox running a win 7 guest
