Bug Description

Gnome terminal 3.16.2 crashes by doing the following:

Terminal > Preferences > Profiles

Double click on "Default".

Gnome Terminal disappears.

The problem is in gnome-terminal, affects Ubuntu and Ubuntu Gnome in 15.10 as of 17 Oct 2015. Unity is not involved.

This bug was fixed in the package gnome-terminal - 3.16.2-1ubuntu4

  * debian/patches/0001-Restore-transparency.patch: Pass the correct parent
    dialog to terminal_app_edit_profile () for the TreeView's row-activated
    callback, fixing crash when double clicking a profile name in the list.
