Bug Description
I used to experience this problem before every time the computer boots and autologins to my desktop as reported here: https:/
But after upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04, I see this only after I logoff and login again.
What's more, whenever I run the command "gksu nautilus" now, the Unity Launcher background immediately turns to default background (purple). If I enter the command "nautilus -q" in an attempt to correct this, it get even worse and the whole desktop background changes to the default one, and I start seeing it again underneath Unity Launcher at startups.
I can only get rid of it by removing folders ~/.compiz and ~/.configure/
As a result I have to use the command "sudo nautilus" instead of "gksu nautilus" (with user bookmarks instead of root bookmarks).
Having same issue too, after "nautilus -q" and opening nautilus and then minimizing it and clicking anywhere on desktop brings back the unity dash color according to the wallpaper applied.
