Bug Description

It has worked for a brief period of time, but now if I try to drag and drop any file from the desktop to the trash bin on the Unity launcher, no response is shown on-screen and the file stays on the desktop.
I am reporting this as a bug as Ubuntu was literally just letting me drag-and-drop to the trash bin just a few minutes before. No updates were running at the period this stopped working.

As part of the big bug review for 16.04 LTS I have tested this on 15.10 and the bug is still there.

I create an empty document on desktop and then drag it to Trash in the Unity launcher making sure that Trash is highlighted. It does not work from the first time but it works from the second.

That's weird, I really can't reproduce this... Neither in a fresh Xenial install
