Bug Description

Not sure Unity is the package.

Ctrl+Alt+T used to be the keyboard shortcut for opening a new terminal window (whether or not one was already open).

It doesn't work any more.

Can anyone else reproduce this? Also double check System Settings -> Keyboard -> Shortcut -> Launcher -> Terminal == Ctrl + Alt + t

This disappeared after reboot.
Shortcuts settings are fine.

I'm not sure but maybe this happened in conjunction with https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1353129

Does it work on another session? Try gnome-classic for example. Also check comment #2.

@Andrea, I suppose you are asking me. Yes, same as with the OP, the shortcut keys are set correctly. In fact, this is a pretty virgin installation. Same as him, the problem also went away after a reboot. What I forgot to do was to verify with xev that the key events were indeed triggered.

This had incorrectly remained in the "Incomplete" status though #7 replied to the request for additional information. Setting to "Confirmed" as we have been two users observing this.

Same problem here. CTRL-ALT(-SHIFT)-direction works, CTRL-ATL-T for terminal doesn't, ALT-tab works, ALT-SHIFT-tab doesn't... strangely enough if I change terminal to CTRL-ALT-N it works, it also works with CTRL-ALT-D, but if I try to set "Hide all windows" to CTRL-ALT-D it doesn't work

Was working fine on 14.04
